High-Efficiency Planetary Mixer Solves Dry Hard Concrete Challenges

To meet the specific mixing demands of dry hard concrete in this Vietnamese project, CO-NELE equipped its concrete pipe mixing station with the core CMP1000 Vertical Shaft Planetary Concrete Mixer. Leveraging a unique planetary mixing principle, the mixer's blades rotate on both their own axes and around the pan, creating complex trajectories that cover the entire mixing pan. This design completely eliminates dead zones, making it exceptionally suitable for the high-uniformity mixing of dry and semi-dry hard concrete.

Given the high viscosity and demanding uniformity requirements of dry hard concrete, the CMP1000 demonstrates exceptional adaptability. While the standard configuration for this model is 37KW, CO-NELE upgraded the power to 45KW specifically for the Vietnamese customer's challenging material characteristics. This enhanced power, combined with forced convection mixing, rapidly breaks down cement particle agglomerations, ensuring the cement paste uniformly coats all aggregate surfaces. On-site tests confirmed 100% mixing uniformity, guaranteeing that every concrete pipe has a dense, consistent structure from core to surface. This fully showcases the core advantages of this planetary concrete mixer in the precast concrete (PC) component sector.

Efficient Synergy: A 3-Minute Cycle Defines Production Rhythm

The complete Vietnamese concrete pipe mixing station features a highly automated design with a streamlined process: Precise batching by aggregate batcher -> Skip hoist charging -> Mixing in CMP1000 planetary concrete mixer -> Hydraulic discharge -> Conveyor belt transport to core mold vibration machine.

In this closed-loop system, the rapid discharge capability of the CMP1000 is key to maximizing overall line efficiency. Equipped with a multi-door hydraulic discharge system, the mixer achieves a minimum discharge time of just 23 seconds. The entire cycle, from material entering the planetary concrete mixer to completing discharge, is strictly controlled within 3 minutes (with mixing time adjustable between 60-120 seconds based on the raw materials). This efficient rhythm perfectly matches the core mold vibration pipe manufacturing process, ensuring continuous and high-performance operation of the concrete pipe mixing station.

Currently, the Vietnamese customer's concrete pipe mixing station can stably produce pipes with diameters of 2.2m, 2.4m, 2.6m, and 2.8m, and has the capacity to manufacture ultra-large diameter drainage pipes up to 3.6 meters. Customer feedback indicates that since using the CO-NELE planetary concrete mixer, the surface finish, impermeability, and flexural strength of the finished pipes have all significantly improved.
